Latest Portraits and Upcoming Projects

Charles Dickens and his work have always fascinated me, and I have always wanted to add his portrait to my collection. He once said “If you have lived and never seen London, you have never lived.” With that in mind I created a London, his beloved city, as a ghost in the background. As a young boy Dickens went astray in this great city and perhaps then, with some wonder and some terror, the city left its mark upon him.

Historical portraits have left there mark on me and once in a while I feel compelled to visit the work of old masters. Shown is an unknown portrait by Hans Holbien the Younger.

Also shown is a western portrait with some character.

I am in the early stages of creating a series of “Men of the Sea”, which will include sea captains, cabin boy, seafaring men, and their ships.

Stay posted.
